IT Production Engineer (80-100%)

About the role

Lombard Odier, a global wealth and asset manager focused on sustainable investing, is looking for IT Production Engineers (80-100% commitment) to support its move toward DevOps technologies while maintaining the current application and technical scope. The IT Production team, of 15 people based in Luxembourg and Geneva, manages an application stack within the IT Operations department.

Key responsibilities

• Test and produce banking applications using pre-defined process frameworks.
• Help implement and evolve application platforms such as OpenShift, with a strong focus on stability and operability.
• Propose improvements to processes and play an active role in them.
• Provide Level 2/3 support for banking applications, including on-call duties.
• Coordinate cross-functional issues (problem management, technical projects).
• Work with internal teams (Integration, Databases, Systems, Network/Citrix, Development, Service Desk, Application Support, Service Management) and external parties (service providers, software vendors, client technical teams).

Required profile

• Higher education in IT; junior and senior profiles will be considered.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Responsible, rigorous, versatile and flexible, with good interpersonal skills and a strong team spirit.
• Desire for continuous improvement and willingness to put forward ideas.

• DevOps, CI/CD tools and principles (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker)
• Application development environments, languages and tools (Java, JBoss, C++, Apache, IIS)
• Scripting (PowerShell) and scheduling
