IoT Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an IoT Engineer to serve as a primary contact for user requests, incidents, and questions related to OBC components such as telecom, hardware, MDM and applications. The role involves troubleshooting, escalation, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for administrative users and drivers, handling requests and incidents.
• Determine escalation paths, set priorities, and ensure timely resolution.
• Document and formalize resolution procedures for Level 1 support.
• Raise unresolved issues to Level 3 and track their progress with internal teams or external partners.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and support technical evolutions and projects.
• Participate in R&D initiatives, develop proofs of concept with external suppliers, and implement new solutions.
• Log all ticket updates in the ticketing system and provide training to users.

Required profile

• Degree in IT or Industrial Engineering.
• Analytical, pragmatic, and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Team player capable of working with external providers and communicating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Curious, autonomous, and driven to support continuous improvement and innovation.
• Fluent in English and French; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with OBC, IoT, M2M, and MDM technologies.
• Programming knowledge in Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
