Internal Auditor / Internal Controller

About the role

This position offers the chance to work cross‑functionally within a family‑owned Luxembourgish group, supporting the development of internal controls, risk management, compliance and ESG initiatives across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Group’s internal control and risk‑management framework.
• Identify, assess and monitor operational, financial, compliance and sustainability risks.
• Review business processes, perform control testing and follow up on improvement actions.
• Contribute to governance, compliance and ESG projects, including regulatory initiatives.
• Prepare reports, dashboards and presentations for management and governance bodies.
• Assist internal and external auditors and collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen the control environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Business Administration, Risk Management, Sustainability or a related field.
• 1‑5 years of experience in internal control, internal audit, risk management or financial audit.
• Strong understanding of internal control, governance, risk management and compliance principles.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills with a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
• Fluent in English and French; German is an asset. Knowledge of ESG and sustainability regulations is a plus.
