Intern, Organisational Security Behaviour

About the role

The internship supports the Security Office in strengthening SES’s organisational culture around the handling of sensitive and classified information. The focus is on human factors, awareness and proactive behavioural alignment rather than technical cybersecurity.

Key responsibilities

• Research and analyse current practices for handling classified information across the organisation.
• Identify cultural, behavioural or procedural gaps that hinder compliance.
• Benchmark practices against governmental and industry standards.
• Develop a comprehensive plan to embed security considerations early in processes and decision‑making.
• Support the creation of communication and awareness materials that frame security as an enabler.
• Map information‑handling flows and document risks in collaboration with security officers and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Master’s programme (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as security studies, organisational psychology, or public administration.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to conduct interviews, surveys and workshops.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Interest in security culture, behavioural change and compliance frameworks.
