Interim Team Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an Interim Team Coordinator to support the Facilities team at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) of the University of Luxembourg. The role ensures smooth daily operations, space management and procurement activities for researchers and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily tasks of the Facilities team, including planning, scheduling and workload allocation.
• Serve as primary contact for operational support to researchers and staff.
• Define, monitor and report KPIs to evaluate team performance and service quality.
• Oversee space planning, office and laboratory allocation, and manage workspace setup, reconfigurations and internal moves.
• Handle equipment, furniture, consumables and relocation logistics in collaboration with Facility Management.
• Coordinate procurement of scientific equipment and operational supplies, maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, safety regulations and laboratory security standards.
• Identify recurring issues, implement corrective actions and produce operational reports and dashboards.

Required profile

• Degree in Logistics, Facility Management, Operations Management or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in logistics, facility operations or technical support, preferably in research, laboratory or high‑tech environments.
• Knowledge of logistics workflows, maintenance operations and service delivery.
• Ability to analyse operational data and produce structured reports.

Required skills

• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
