Innovation Advisor – AI Solutions Analyst

About the role

CMS Luxembourg is establishing a new AI Solutions Analyst position to accelerate its transition toward a more innovative, technology‑enabled way of working. The role sits at the intersection of legal expertise, innovation, and technology delivery, primarily supporting the Funds practice by identifying high‑value opportunities, designing AI‑powered solutions, and driving adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current workflows within the Funds practice, identify pain points and evaluate the feasibility, impact and ROI of potential innovations.
• Map and analyse legal processes to uncover opportunities for automation, AI augmentation and optimisation.
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements and build reusable components, workflows and data pipelines.
• Design and run technology pilots from definition to delivery, managing objectives, scope, timeline, budget, metrics and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure cross‑functional alignment between practice‑specific needs and firm‑wide innovation initiatives.
• Stay up‑to‑date with AI, legal‑tech and productivity tools relevant to legal operations.
• Collaborate with IT and vendors to guarantee secure and scalable solution design.
• Drive adoption of AI tools and new workflows across the Funds practice, delivering training and change‑management support.
• Promote responsible AI usage, advise on capabilities, limitations and data‑governance requirements, ensuring compliance with firm policies and client confidentiality.

Required profile

• Legal background or strong understanding of the Funds practice combined with a keen interest in technology and AI.
• Experience in translating business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Proven ability to design, develop and pilot technology solutions with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical mindset with the capability to assess ROI and impact of innovations.
• Excellent communication skills to act as a bridge between lawyers, business teams and technology providers.
