Head of Crypto

About the role

Satispay is building a financial platform that makes financial services easy and accessible, starting with payments and then adding benefits, investing and cards. As Head of Crypto, you will drive a brand-new core pillar of the company's expansion into cryptocurrency and Web3, taking ownership of an existing high-potential strategy, executing it and adapting it as needed. The role is autonomous, with frequent direct contact with the founding team on execution, team scaling and long-term vision.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of the crypto roadmap, drive its execution and adjust it based on market evaluation and new opportunities
• Partner with the founders and C-level executives so the crypto rollout stays aligned with the company's mission
• Oversee the full lifecycle of crypto products, from infrastructure setup and go-to-market strategy to launch and continuous optimization
• Work with Compliance and Legal to align products with European regulations such as MiCA and safeguarding standards
• Build relationships with exchanges, custodians, liquidity providers and blockchain networks
• Lead and mentor high-performing teams with transparent, structured collaboration

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in crypto/Web3 initiatives at a regulated fintech, exchange or crypto-native company
• Ability to turn a high-level strategy into shipped products and scale operations from the ground up
• Deep technical understanding of blockchain architecture, crypto market dynamics, digital wallets, custody solutions and Web3 infrastructure
• Solid knowledge of the European crypto regulatory landscape (MiCA, AML/KYC for digital assets) and a track record of launching compliant products
• Fluent English; Italian is a plus
