German‑Speaking Business Development Executive (Travel)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic German‑speaking Business Development Executive to join the commercial team of a leading international tourism company. The role focuses on building and nurturing long‑term partnerships with professional travel partners across Luxembourg and Germany, driving sales and representing the brand at industry events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage and strengthen relationships with a portfolio of travel agencies and other B2B partners.
• Visit partners regularly to identify new business opportunities and support their commercial growth.
• Promote commercial offers, monitor sales performance and recommend actions to maximise results.
• Analyse market trends, prepare reports and collaborate with internal teams on campaigns.
• Represent the company at trade fairs, workshops, networking events and other industry gatherings.
• Occasionally travel to discover new destinations and enhance market knowledge.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in a travel agency, tour operator or related tourism commercial environment.
• Strong commercial mindset with a genuine interest in business development and relationship management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build trust and lasting partnerships.
• Team player who can collaborate across departments while working autonomously in the field.
• Comfortable analysing sales performance and translating insights into commercial actions.

Required skills

• Fluent spoken and written German and English.
• Proficiency in French and/or Luxembourgish is an asset.
