German‑Speaking Account Manager – Inbound Sales

About the role

Passbolt is seeking an experienced Account Manager who will own the inbound commercial journey for German‑speaking prospects and customers. You will work remotely within a remote‑first organisation while collaborating closely with the Luxembourg‑based sales team. The role focuses on small‑to‑medium deals and supports larger enterprise opportunities alongside an Account Executive.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound enquiries from German‑speaking prospects via email, chat, and phone.
  • Conduct discovery calls, qualify leads against the Ideal Customer Profile, and schedule online demos.
  • Prepare estimates, negotiate terms, and close small and medium deals end‑to‑end.
  • Support large enterprise deals in a pod with an Account Executive, handling pipeline chase, proposal coordination, CRM hygiene, and invoicing.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the German market, including buying patterns, competitive landscape, and compliance expectations.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in inbound sales or account management, preferably with a focus on small‑to‑medium deals.
  • Strong communication skills in German and English.
  • Ability to build relationships with technically literate buyers in the cybersecurity and open‑source space.
  • Empathetic, problem‑oriented mindset with a results‑driven attitude.
