Flight Ops Engineer

About the role

Global Jet is seeking a Flight Ops Engineer to join its Engineering Department. You will work closely with Pilot Fleet Chiefs and other internal teams to develop and maintain flight operations procedures, manuals, and checklists for a diverse fleet of aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Create operation manuals, define and validate SOPs and related procedures for the fleet.
• Support project‑management initiatives such as digitalisation, new software integration, and client‑offering enhancements.
• Analyse aircraft performance for specific routes and airports, and perform mass‑and‑balance calculations.
• Monitor and develop operation specifications (e.g., Steep Approach, CAT II/III) and deliver internal training as needed.
• Manage the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) system and assist the EFB administrator.
• Oversee carbon‑emission management initiatives.
• Collaborate with Training, Safety, Compliance Monitoring and other departments.
• Serve as the Engineering Department liaison for civil aviation authorities.

Required profile

• Aeronautical Engineering degree (Master preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in aviation.
• Strong passion for aviation and ability to work in a multicultural, high‑stress environment.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.

• EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) management.
• Mass‑and‑balance calculations.

• Regulatory compliance knowledge (EASA, FAA, etc.).
• Carbon‑emission management.
