Financial Crime Compliance Internship (AML/KYC) – 6 Months

About the role

Join the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) team in Luxembourg as an intern and gain hands‑on experience in anti‑money laundering (AML) and know‑your‑customer (KYC) processes. You will support periodic client reviews and contribute to the assessment of client files across the European portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in performing AML/KYC reviews of client files during periodic review cycles.
• Support end‑to‑end client lifecycle activities, including ongoing due diligence and remediation.
• Assess client documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or outdated information in client records.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and senior FCC experts to obtain missing information.
• Maintain clear documentation of findings and actions taken.
• Help with internal reporting and adherence to FCC policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to interact confidently and professionally with stakeholders.
• Organizational and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
