Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our finance team in Luxembourg. Reporting to the Administrative & Finance Director, you will own the planning, analysis and reporting cycle while partnering closely with business units to provide decision‑ready insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget and periodic forecasting process, including cash‑flow projections, in coordination with division leads and HR.
• Produce monthly and ad‑hoc financial reports and analyses for management and the Japanese parent company.
• Drive analytical (cost) accounting and cost controlling across projects, programs and activities.
• Support business teams on RFQ/ITT responses, contract negotiations, pricing, costing and profitability analysis.
• Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate month‑end close, reconciliations and alignment of reporting with the books.
• Contribute to finance transformation projects such as ERP implementation, process improvements and transfer‑pricing initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; professional qualification is a plus.
• At least 6 years of experience in controlling/FP&A and accounting, preferably in a project‑ or contract‑driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, analytical accounting and management reporting; familiarity with Lux GAAP and IFRS is advantageous.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
