Financial Controller – Fixed-Term (12 months)

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract for an established asset‑management institution in Luxembourg. Reporting to the Head of Financial Control, you will join a small, close‑knit team and work closely with fund administrators, an external accounting firm and auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue invoices, collect revenue and reconcile management and performance fees calculated by fund administrators.
• Review and validate supplier and branch expenses.
• Monitor daily treasury activities and cash‑flow positions.
• Liaise with fund administrators, the external accounting firm and auditors on a regular basis.
• Provide ad‑hoc support for budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Previous exposure to fund administrators is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of business processes and financial controls.
• High degree of autonomy and excellent communication skills.
