Finance Project Manager (Corporate & Investment Banking)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Project Manager to join the Organisation & PMO function of a leading banking institution in Luxembourg. The role sits within the Corporate & Investment Banking division and will drive strategic transformation, operating‑model improvements and regulatory change initiatives across financial markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project management activities for business and strategic banking initiatives.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• Develop and maintain full project documentation, including business cases, RAID logs, plans and reporting.
• Collect and analyse business requirements from multiple stakeholders.
• Support process mapping, optimisation and re‑engineering efforts.
• Contribute to organisational design and regulatory change adaptation.
• Participate in UAT phases for technical and business‑driven projects.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across business, IT and senior management.
• Report progress, risks and issues to senior leadership and PMO governance forums.

Required profile

• Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, Finance, Banking or a related field.
• 2–3+ years of project management experience in financial services or banking.
• Strong exposure to Corporate & Investment Banking or Financial Markets environments.
• Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering and process improvement.
• Understanding of UAT and delivery lifecycle in banking projects.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent English (mandatory); French or Italian a plus.
