Finance Operations Manager

About the role

Vodafone is looking for a Finance Operations Manager to lead accounting, compliance and financial governance for its procurement entity in Luxembourg. You will be responsible for statutory and internal reporting, budgeting, forecasting and driving finance‑system improvements while collaborating with service lines, local finance teams and group functions.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end financial accounting processes, ensuring accurate P&L and balance‑sheet reporting.
• Maintain compliance with SOX controls, Luxembourg tax, legal and statutory requirements.
• Prepare ad‑hoc and board reports for senior leadership including CFO and CEO.
• Manage the annual budget and forecast cycle in partnership with FP&A and Group Planning.
• Lead the statutory audit process and align with evolving reporting standards.
• Drive the FinOps roadmap, supporting new business models and transformation projects.
• Enhance reporting efficiency through automation and AI solutions.
• Build strong partnerships with Finance Service Line teams and SCM Category Managers.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in finance operations, controllership or audit, preferably within a Big 4 environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work across functions and geographies.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
