Finance Manager – Statutory Reporting & Compliance

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Finance Manager to join its Luxembourg‑based accounting team. The role goes beyond traditional reporting, offering ownership of core accounting operations and the chance to drive innovation through automation and AI‑powered solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end closing, statutory financial reporting, and external audit coordination across multiple accounting frameworks.
• Transform accounting data into actionable insights that support business innovation.
• Identify, develop, and implement scalable process improvements using automation and AI tools.
• Collaborate globally with Accounting, Finance, Technology, Tax, Legal and external business partners.
• Manage and deliver large‑scale, complex projects in a fast‑moving, high‑growth environment.
• Continuously enhance skills by working with advanced finance technologies and global best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Extensive experience managing end‑to‑end accounting cycles, audits, and multi‑jurisdictional reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and ERP platforms, leveraging automation and AI.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to turn data into insights.
