Facilities Maintenance Coordinator

About the role

The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator ensures that the Luxembourg Stock Exchange’s physical premises are safe, well‑maintained, and fully operational. You will lead maintenance planning, oversee repairs, and manage relationships with external contractors and sublease tenants to support a productive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate external contractors for maintenance and repair services
• Develop and implement maintenance plans, schedules, and strategies
• Participate in budget planning, monitor and control expenses
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with external vendors for specialized maintenance services
• Conduct regular inspections and quality audits
• Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans for facility‑related incidents
• Manage relationships with sublease tenants
• Contribute to specific projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives related to the building

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
• Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment, such as HVAC and electrical
• Proven leadership and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Experience with budget planning and cost control
• Full professional proficiency in French and English
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Experience implementing continuous‑improvement initiatives
• Relevant certifications (e.g., facilities management certifications)
