Expert in Renewable Energy

About the role

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium to implement an EU‑funded project aimed at strengthening strategic, institutional, and operational capacity for effective energy policy in North Macedonia. The project seeks a seasoned Renewable Energy Expert to support the core team during the 42‑month implementation phase, starting 1 December 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on the design, deployment, and integration of renewable energy technologies across the project portfolio.
• Support the development of policy recommendations, certification schemes, and guarantees of origin for renewable energy.
• Collaborate with EU Member State bodies and Energy Community Treaty parties to align project activities with regional standards.
• Contribute to reports, technical studies, and stakeholder workshops related to renewable energy solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum Master’s degree in a directly related discipline or a Bachelor’s degree plus four years of relevant experience.
• At least 8–10 years of professional experience in the energy sector.
• Fluent spoken and written English (C1 level).
