About the role
The Enterprise Sales Manager will drive new‑business sales for Elavon’s Retail vertical across Belgium and Luxembourg, leveraging the partnership with Bancontact. As an individual contributor, you will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to handing over relationships to account managers, and help expand Elavon’s retail footprint in the region.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new enterprise merchant opportunities in Belgium and Luxembourg.
- Communicate Elavon’s value proposition based on merchant needs and the Belgian payments landscape.
- Maintain and grow a sales pipeline aligned with revenue targets.
- Navigate complex sales cycles, negotiate and close high‑value deals with senior executives.
- Build and sustain a referral network to generate additional business.
- Collaborate with relationship managers and partnership teams to explore expansion opportunities.
- Manage relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Travel across Belgium and Luxembourg as required.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience selling payments or complex financial‑service solutions to large enterprise merchants in Belgium.
- Proven record of exceeding sales and revenue targets.
- Hunter mindset with a focus on self‑generated new‑business acquisition.
- Experience applying enterprise sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, SPIN, Challenger).
- Ability to build relationships with C‑suite executives and influence decision‑making.
- High ethical standards, honesty, and integrity.
- Native or fluent French speaker; additional languages a plus.
