Electromechanical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electromechanical Engineer to lead the design and analysis of electrical and motion‑control solutions for both internal projects and external customers. The role sits within our product development teams in the Capellen area and works closely with mechanical engineers and other disciplines to deliver innovative automation systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, dimension, implement, test and maintain electrical, electromechanical and motion‑control solutions, including PLC code, for a range of products.
• Collaborate with partners and customers to integrate HITEC electrical and automated solutions.
• Define, document, implement and verify new features and technologies in existing or new products.
• Present and defend technical concepts to stakeholders and partners.
• Drive functional testing by creating and executing test plans.
• Develop and promote best practices for product design and verification.
• Research, document and disseminate emerging technologies within the department.

Required profile

• Engineer or Master’s degree in electrical or automation engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with electromechanical devices such as electric motors and power electronics.
• Fluent English for technical discussions and documentation; additional German, French or Luxembourgish is a plus.
• Strong ability to adapt to new situations and work with diverse stakeholders.
• Background in control theory.
