E-CAD Designer

About the role

EmTroniX, a leading NewSpace electronics and embedded software company, is looking for a motivated E‑CAD Designer to join its growing team. You will work on cutting‑edge satellite payload technologies, collaborating with electronics, mechanical and production engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop schematic and multi‑layer PCB layouts for analog, digital, RF and power electronics.
• Create electronic card layouts and manage design documentation.
• Coordinate with PCB vendors on material selection, stack‑ups, impedance, design rules and assembly requirements.
• Work closely with mechanical designers and the in‑house production department.
• Maintain and release fabrication and assembly packages in the company PLM system.
• Generate and update schematic symbols and PCB footprints across multiple libraries.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electronic CAD design.
• Fluent English; French or German are strong assets.
• Proven ability to handle high‑speed routing and high‑speed digital design.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Altium Designer (or equivalent EDA tools such as Cadence).
• Experience designing RF PCB layouts.
• Knowledge of database management and script development for EDA automation.
• Ability to create and manage PCB documentation, fabrication, and assembly packages.
