About the role

The University of Luxembourg seeks a motivated doctoral researcher to develop a PhD thesis on Entrepreneurship and Sustainability within the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance. The position combines independent research, teaching support, and active participation in a vibrant research group.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a doctoral research project in management, focusing on entrepreneurship and sustainability.
• Prepare and defend a doctoral thesis, potentially in joint supervision with another university.
• Teach small‑group classes and tutorials (1‑3 hours per week).
• Collaborate with other PhD candidates and post‑doctoral researchers on related topics.
• Engage with leading experts and contribute to the research community.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Management, Economics or a closely related field.
• Strong quantitative background.
• Demonstrated B2‑level proficiency in the language of the thesis.
