Data Architect

About the role

As a Data Architect at Sogeti, you will design, implement, and manage scalable data architectures that enable business intelligence, analytics, and machine‑learning initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high‑performance data architectures for both structured and unstructured data.
• Define and implement data models including relational, NoSQL, data lakes, data warehouses, and lakehouses.
• Optimize database performance, indexing, and query execution for large‑scale datasets.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and analysts to support advanced analytics and AI/ML workflows.
• Oversee data ingestion processes and ensure consistency across data flows.
• Implement data security and confidentiality policies in line with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure data quality and governance, including Master Data Management solutions.
• Drive innovation by integrating machine‑learning and statistical analysis techniques.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar data architecture role.
• Strong experience in data security, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Team‑spirit, leadership mindset, and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluency in French and English.
