Customer Growth Specialist

About the role

The Customer Growth Specialist will own retention and expansion for a segment of smaller video businesses, designing scalable coaching programs and using data to drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own gross revenue retention and expansion for an assigned customer segment.
• Identify recurring challenges and develop scalable coaching approaches.
• Design and deliver group coaching sessions, workshops, webinars, and asynchronous experiences.
• Advise customers on pricing, packaging, positioning, offers, email and funnel strategy, and retention mechanics.
• Monitor customer data to spot risk signals and analyze retention curves and funnel performance.
• Build repeatable playbooks, coaching formats, and processes for scaling.
• Share insights with Product and Customer Success teams and use AI tools for research and content creation.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in coaching, consulting, customer success, digital marketing, or related fields with ownership of business outcomes.
• Proven track record helping online businesses, solo operators, founders, or small teams improve growth and revenue.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret dashboards, retention curves, and cohort behavior.
• Excellent live facilitation skills for group sessions, workshops, and webinars.
• Comfort with variable compensation tied to customer outcomes and high ownership in ambiguous environments.

Required skills

• Experience with AI tools such as Claude for research, preparation, analysis, and content creation.
• Familiarity with platforms like Kit/ConvertKit, YouTube, Kajabi, Circle, Squarespace, Meta, and Instagram.
