Compliance Officer

About the role

Engelwood Asset Management S.A., a Luxembourg‑regulated AIFM, is expanding its compliance function to support growing business needs. The Compliance Officer will work closely with the Conducting Officers and Board to ensure regulatory obligations are met across the fund and asset management activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in gathering data for regulatory filings required of the AIFM.
• Prepare compliance reports for Conducting Officers and the Board.
• Support documentation for monthly Conducting Officers meetings.
• Execute the annual Compliance Monitoring Plan, including sample testing of internal processes.
• Handle initial and ongoing due‑diligence requests from counterparties and delegates.
• Prepare AML packages for external parties.
• Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audit exercises.
• Maintain administrative aspects of funds, both physical and electronic, and liaise with supervisory authorities as needed.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–2 years of compliance experience within an AIFM, ManCo or fund environment in Luxembourg.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg regulatory framework (AIFM Law, AML/CFT, CSSF regulations).
• Experience with regulatory reporting and compliance monitoring.
• Understanding of due‑diligence processes and AML documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Knowledge of AML/CFT requirements.
• Familiarity with Luxembourg AIFM regulatory reporting.
