Cocoa Beans Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role

Based at Ferrero’s Luxembourg headquarters, the Cocoa Beans Buyer will oversee the end‑to‑end procurement and delivery of cocoa beans, ensuring consistent quality and timely supply for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the cocoa beans category strategy into actionable procurement plans aligned with business needs.
• Support budgeting and medium‑term planning using market insights to guide sourcing decisions.
• Provide clear analyses to leadership to protect availability, manage cost and mitigate risk.
• Negotiate contracts in line with Ferrero’s Code of Business Conduct, maintain fair supplier competition, and manage price lists, allocations and purchase orders.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to anticipate issues and guarantee continuity of supply.
• Coordinate strategic stock and supply flow in line with S&OP requirements, tracking service, quality and inventory indicators.
• Embed sustainability considerations into daily procurement decisions and support group‑wide cocoa projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement or supply‑chain experience, preferably with raw‑material commodities.
• Proven negotiation skills and ability to evaluate supplier offers with clear criteria.
• Strong communication in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to build trust across functions, align priorities and act with integrity.
