Chief Operating Officer (COO)

About the role

As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) you will scale and optimise Satispay’s operational foundations, driving excellence across all functions to support rapid growth across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic Operations – direct daily operational activities to align with long‑term company objectives.
• Process Optimization – identify bottlenecks, standardise workflows and implement scalable processes.
• Cross‑Functional Leadership – align operations with Product, Tech, Business Development and Compliance for seamless execution.
• Performance & Metrics – define, track and drive key operational KPIs and reporting frameworks.
• Scalability & Infrastructure – build resilient operational systems to support rapid user acquisition and geographic expansion.

Required profile

• Proven executive experience (COO, VP Ops or similar) in a fast‑growing scale‑up, tech or fintech environment.
• Demonstrated success designing, scaling and managing complex operational processes at scale.
• Strong strategic and analytical mindset with data‑driven decision making.
• Track record of building, scaling and empowering high‑performing operational teams.
• Hands‑on ownership mindset in high‑stakes, fast‑paced environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 50 % between Luxembourg and Milan.
