Buyer – Procurement & Supplier Quality

About the role

As a Buyer you will play a key part in shaping the future of mobility by ensuring that the right suppliers are selected and managed. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to implement supplier strategies that meet quality, sustainability and cost objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier panel concepts with a local focus.
• Contribute to the creation and execution of category strategies at local or regional levels.
• Apply global processes, standards and tools while driving continuous improvement.
• Manage end‑to‑end purchasing activities: supplier selection, RFQ, price comparison, negotiation, contracting and supplier development.
• Meet performance targets and ensure compliance with internal rules, privacy, 5S, health, safety and fire protection regulations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across regions, functions and business units.
• Participate in health, safety and fire protection training and apply the learned concepts.

Required profile

• Degree in engineering, business administration, industrial engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong understanding of technical and commercial aspects of procurement.
• Good numerical affinity, solid communication skills and confident presentation.
• Proven negotiation and contracting abilities.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
• Ability to build networks, influence decisions and resolve conflicts constructively.
