About the role
The Business Development Manager will drive growth by identifying and securing new opportunities with European Institutions. Working closely with Account Management, Presales and Service teams, the role ensures seamless onboarding and long‑term relationship building with institutional clients.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute a business development strategy targeting EU institutional customers.
- Identify, qualify and build a pipeline of strategic opportunities aligned with company capabilities.
- Act as primary contact for newly acquired clients, managing onboarding and early delivery phases.
- Collaborate with Presales to prepare proposals, manage tender processes and coordinate consortium agreements.
- Monitor contract usage, identify upsell or extension opportunities and ensure internal activation.
- Develop and maintain long‑term relationships through structured commercial plans and strategic alliances.
- Stay informed on market trends, institutional priorities and upcoming tenders.
Required profile
- Strong understanding of EU institutional frameworks and public procurement processes.
- Proven experience with public tenders, framework contracts and multi‑stakeholder bids.
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
- Commercial drive with a focus on customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
Required skills
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales performance tracking.
