About the role
Rotarex is seeking a Business Development Manager for the DACH region. The position is fully home‑office based, with regular travel across Germany, Austria and Switzerland to support customers and drive growth. You will lead market expansion, build strategic partnerships and increase the company’s presence in the industrial solutions sector.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new customers, distributors and market opportunities throughout the DACH region.
- Promote and introduce new products and solutions to expand market share.
- Maintain and deepen long‑term relationships with existing customers and key decision‑makers.
- Oversee day‑to‑day sales operations, monitor KPIs and develop action plans to meet targets.
- Analyse market trends, competitive landscape and advise management on strategic developments.
- Represent Rotarex at trade shows, exhibitions and commercial events.
- Produce regular commercial activity reports and coordinate with internal and international teams.
Required profile
- University degree in Commercial Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in technical sales, marketing and business development, preferably within the fire‑suppression industry.
- Demonstrated success in business development across the DACH region.
- Fluency in German and English; French is a plus.
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Required skills
- Strong technical aptitude for mechanical and fluid‑based technologies.
- In‑depth knowledge of fire‑suppression systems and related industrial applications.
