Business Developer – Aerospace & Space Market

About the role

SPiN is looking for a proactive Business Developer to drive growth in the Luxembourg space market. You will work closely with government agencies, industry partners and customers to expand the adoption of SPiN’s modular satellite solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities by monitoring market trends and ecosystem dynamics in Luxembourg’s traditional and new‑space sectors.
• Develop and nurture leads, converting prospects into qualified opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships to strengthen SPiN’s market position and enable collaborative projects.
• Manage relationships with existing stakeholders, including the Luxembourg Space Agency and the European Space Agency.
• Represent SPiN at trade shows, conferences and industry events to network and promote solutions.
• Prepare persuasive proposals, especially in ESA format, to secure government and institutional contracts.
• Report on business development activities, providing insights and progress updates to senior management.

Required profile

• MBA or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of customer‑facing experience in aerospace, defence or a comparable industry, with a focus on government or inter‑governmental entities.
• Proven experience writing proposals for agencies such as ESA or LSA.
• Demonstrated ability to introduce disruptive technologies into complex markets.
• Experience working in a scale‑up environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and creative thinking to turn ideas into business opportunities.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Legal right to reside and work in Luxembourg and willingness to travel as required.
