Building Management Systems Engineer / Consultant

About the role

As a Building Management Systems (BMS) Engineer/Consultant you will act as the technical bridge between clients, project managers and design teams, delivering added value across complex building and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical consultancy and lead the design of BMS solutions for large‑scale projects.
• Support all project phases—from concept and design through tendering, execution and commissioning.
• Coordinate technically with clients, architects, contractors and system suppliers.
• Ensure quality, schedule and cost targets are met within the BMS scope.
• Contribute to international projects, especially across Europe.
• Help develop standards, concepts and project methodologies.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Automation, Building Services Engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in BMS design and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of applicable standards and regulations.
• Fluent in German or French and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in international projects or strong motivation to work globally.
• Analytical, self‑driven with excellent consulting and communication skills.
