Bookkeeping Consultant – Remote, $80/hr

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeping Consultant to work remotely on a short‑term, 10‑week contract. You will help create and evaluate finance‑focused datasets used to assess AI performance.

Key responsibilities

• Create and review accounting and finance reasoning datasets for AI evaluation.
• Analyze financial statements, bookkeeping records, and accounting scenarios.
• Evaluate AI‑generated responses for accuracy, consistency, and sound financial reasoning.
• Develop prompts, rubrics, and evaluation guidelines for finance‑related tasks.
• Identify accounting errors and improve dataset quality.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or financial consulting.
• Background as a CFO Advisor, Controller, Finance Manager, or Financial Consultant.
• Active user of QuickBooks Online (QBO) or experience with Omni Chat.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and financial statement analysis.
• Experience supporting SMB clients and handling complex accounting queries.
