AV Designer – Audiovisual Systems Design

About the role

We are looking for an AV Designer to join our User Centric Spaces & Places (UCSP) team. In this position you will design, implement and support audiovisual solutions for corporate, event and entertainment environments across the Benelux market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and design standard and complex AV systems, including video, audio and control solutions.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers and contractors to ensure seamless integration.
• Select appropriate AV equipment such as projectors, displays, sound systems, video‑conferencing and control platforms.
• Provide AV infrastructure requirements (power, data, reinforced walls) to IT and the main contractor.
• Check third‑party deliverables (IT patching, VLANs, Wi‑Fi, NAC) and conduct site surveys with detailed reports.
• Participate in regular work‑stream meetings and support project management activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Multimedia Design or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in AV design, integration or installation.
• Fluency in English and French; German is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Project‑management knowledge (CTS or PRINCE2) is advantageous.

Required skills

• AV design software: AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Visio.
• Control‑system design and programming.
• Audio and video transport protocols.
• Networking principles for AV‑over‑IP.
• Integration of virtual and augmented reality into AV solutions (optional).
• CTS or PRINCE2 certification (preferred).
