Automation & Manual Tester – Financial Applications

About the role

You will ensure the quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance of critical financial applications in a payment and securities‑settlement environment. The position combines manual testing with the design and execution of automated test suites for T2S flows and ISO 20022 messaging.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and run manual and automated test cases covering functional, integration, regression and system testing.
• Validate end‑to‑end business processes related to TARGET2‑Securities (T2S) flows.
• Analyse and verify ISO 20022 messages and transaction processing workflows.
• Execute SQL queries to check data integrity and business rule implementation.
• Identify, document and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers and stakeholders to guarantee high‑quality releases.
• Contribute to the maintenance of in‑house automated testing tools.
• Review requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and scripts.
• Prepare test reports and advise on release readiness.
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes in a highly regulated environment.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Experience in testing financial applications, especially payment and securities settlement.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
• Good understanding of regulatory standards in the financial sector.
