Associate in Accounting

About the role

You will join PwC Luxembourg’s Tax and Accounting team, working with specialists across tax compliance, accounting and legal matters. The position offers hands‑on exposure to a diverse client base and the chance to develop a solid technical foundation in accounting, tax and transaction work.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, tax returns and support consolidation and due‑diligence assignments.
• Analyse transactions such as mergers, acquisitions and liquidations to aid client decisions.
• Manage and support accounting, tax and legal aspects of a client portfolio across various industries.
• Build direct relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and high‑quality delivery.
• Collaborate with tax, accounting and other specialists to design tailored client solutions.
• Contribute to process improvement and maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, management, accounting or taxation.
• Strong interest in tax, accounting and legal topics; first experience not required.
• English C1 (full professional) and French C1 (full professional) proficiency.
• Integrity, confidentiality and high ethical standards.

Required skills

• Basic to working knowledge of accounting principles.
• Basic to working knowledge of tax regulations.
