AML & Financial Crime Analyst (6‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Join Zodia Custody’s Financial Crime Prevention team as an AML & FCC Analyst on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. You will help protect the platform and its clients by investigating alerts, monitoring transactions, and conducting on‑chain investigations in a fast‑evolving crypto environment.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate alerts, review sanctions, PEP and adverse media (World‑Check) and escalate true positives.
• Monitor transactions for suspicious activity and analyse post‑transaction alerts.
• Conduct on‑chain investigations using blockchain analytics tools to assess exposure and identify high‑risk activity.
• Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), analysing ownership structures across jurisdictions.
• Support onboarding and compliance, ensuring cases are complete, accurate and audit‑ready.
• Collaborate with Compliance, the MLRO function and wider operations to uphold the highest standards.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in AML, KYC or Financial Crime within a regulated environment or digital‑asset firm.
• Hands‑on experience in transaction monitoring investigations.
• Confidence using screening tools such as World‑Check and applying a risk‑based approach.
• Exposure to blockchain analytics tools (Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic) – highly valued.
• Knowledge of global regulatory frameworks (FCA, MAS, CSSF, AUSTRAC).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce audit‑ready documentation.
• Immediate availability is an advantage.
