Accountant (Soparfi) – Luxembourg GAAP

About the role

Fundamentals S.A. is seeking an Accountant Soparfi to manage a portfolio of companies and ensure accurate financial reporting under Luxembourg GAAP. You will work closely with clients, auditors and tax authorities while supporting the team’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records, cashbook entries, expenses and payroll for assigned companies.
• Post month‑end and year‑end transactions and prepare annual accounts in accordance with Luxembourg GAAP.
• Prepare tax returns, periodic and annual VAT returns, and regulatory BCL reports.
• Analyse legal documents such as sales, purchase and loan agreements.
• Respond to inquiries from auditors, clients and tax authorities and resolve internal accounting issues.
• Assist junior accountants and contribute to projects that improve accounting processes.
• Monitor regulatory, tax and legal changes and advise management on required actions.

Required profile

• Diploma in Accounting, Audit or Finance.
• 2‑3 years of professional experience in a fiduciary environment.
• Familiarity with Luxembourg GAAP.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork and organisational abilities.
