Accountant (m/f/x)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Accountant to join our General Services accounting department. The role involves handling day‑to‑day bookkeeping, month‑end and year‑end closings, and supporting the team with a variety of financial tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and verify invoices from manual and automated orders.
• Execute monthly and annual closing procedures within strict deadlines.
• Perform customer accounting, clearing, and credit‑control activities.
• Validate and justify account balances.
• Create, post, and monitor asset and cash accounts.
• Prepare VAT returns and other Luxembourg‑or foreign tax declarations, once trained.
• Serve as the primary contact for general accounting queries.
• Carry out additional administrative duties as required by the department.

Required profile

• Secondary school diploma in accounting or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency with standard office software.
• Fluent in English, French or German (spoken and written).
• Strong numerical aptitude and ability to meet deadlines.
• Organised, precise and able to work both independently and in a team.
