Senior Vice President – Fund Administration Manager

About the role

BNY is seeking a Senior Vice President to lead its Fund Administration function within the Alternatives Fund Accounting team in Luxembourg. You will oversee outsourced accounting teams, ensure accurate NAV determination, and drive operational excellence for a diverse set of investment funds.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple outsourced Fund Accounting teams delivering NAV, performance, expense allocation, and reporting services.
• Provide oversight and guidance on complex NAV production for Hedge, Credit, Private Market, Real Estate, and Hybrid funds.
• Collaborate across internal teams to meet unit goals and ensure operational effectiveness.
• Direct processes and resource allocation to guarantee accurate NAV determination each measurement cycle.
• Partner with clients to resolve escalated accounting and calculation issues.
• Contribute to methodology enhancements, drive efficiency gains, and review work prepared by leads.
• Lead complex projects from inception to execution, managing quality, timelines, and risk.
• Maintain governance standards in line with Luxembourg CSSF circulars.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated people‑management experience with strong communication skills.
• Minimum 3 years in a similar fund accounting function; 15+ years total experience preferred.
• Background in alternatives fund accounting or audit, ideally with Big Four experience.
• Proven ability to recruit, motivate, and develop staff.
• Business‑level English; additional languages are a plus.
