Senior Manager, Safety Programs – EU/ROW

About the role

Amazon’s Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team is looking for a Senior Manager to lead the Safety Culture and Leadership vertical for Europe and the Rest of World. In this role you will shape and execute a global safety culture strategy, partnering with operations, communications, HR, legal and regional WHS teams to embed safety leadership across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a global team responsible for implementing safety culture leadership and sentiment programs for international operations.
• Drive the implementation of a unified safety culture strategy that aligns with Amazon’s business objectives.
• Identify and address customer and business pain points by deep‑diving into data and operational processes.
• Continuously assess team structure, talent, and bench strength to meet long‑term business needs.
• Provide strategic and tactical support to program owners, ensuring on‑time delivery of key milestones.
• Evaluate program effectiveness through data analysis and adjust strategic direction accordingly.
• Produce high‑quality documentation and communications for stakeholders across regions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in workplace safety program management, preferably within EU or ROW markets.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
• Strong strategic planning, decision‑making and influencing skills, with a customer‑obsessed mindset.
• Excellent analytical abilities, capable of interpreting multiple data sources to drive decisions.
• Demonstrated success in delivering results through senior‑level stakeholder engagement.
