Senior Full-Stack Java Developer (English Speaker)

About the role

Taleo Consulting is seeking a senior full‑stack developer to design, build and maintain enterprise applications for its clients. The role is based in Luxembourg and requires strong Java, Python and SQL expertise, as well as the ability to collaborate closely with business analysts, testers and business users. You will be involved in the complete software lifecycle, from development through to production support and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, update and maintain applications in line with business and technology requirements.
• Perform software testing and provide testing support for application changes and releases.
• Provide third‑level support for internally developed software and investigate complex production issues.
• Diagnose defects and implement reliable, maintainable solutions.
• Work closely with business analysts, testers, business users and management to ensure timely delivery of projects and change requests.
• Support change, release and deployment activities according to established IT processes.
• Contribute to code quality, version control and code management best practices.
• Maintain technical documentation for applications, changes and support procedures.
• Help improve application performance, stability, security and user experience.
• Explore opportunities to apply artificial‑intelligence tools and techniques within the software‑development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Java, Python and SQL.
• Experience working with Oracle databases.
• Experience developing or maintaining modern user interfaces.
• Proven understanding of source control, versioning and code management practices.
• Experience with IT processes such as change management and release management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable and well‑documented code.
