Program Manager – Large‑Scale Transformation (Freelance)

About the role

This freelance position is for an experienced Program Manager who will lead a 12‑month, renewable transformation programme in Luxembourg. The role requires strong governance, risk management and stakeholder communication to ensure seamless delivery across multiple technology workstreams.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the integrated transformation plan.
• Manage Risks, Actions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID) across all workstreams.
• Coordinate Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, Security and Operations teams.
• Manage suppliers and ensure delivery alignment across all workstreams.
• Prepare, facilitate and lead governance committees and steering forums.
• Produce executive‑level reporting and program status updates.
• Handle escalations and support critical decision‑making processes.
• Drive testing, migration, cut‑over, hand‑over and hyper‑care activities.
• Ensure service continuity throughout the transformation programme.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in program management and large‑scale transformation initiatives.
• Proven track record leading complex infrastructure transformation programmes and strategic technology projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including interaction with senior leadership.
• Experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams and coordinating multiple suppliers in complex environments.
• Excellent governance, planning, reporting and risk‑management capabilities.
• Ability to operate effectively in business‑critical environments and drive execution across multiple workstreams simultaneously.
