Junior Tax Consultant – VAT Advisory

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Tax Consultant to join our VAT Advisory department in Luxembourg. You will work closely with senior experts to deliver VAT compliance and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio, gaining hands‑on experience in both national and international tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and advise clients on VAT implications for various structures and operations.
• Prepare VAT deliverables such as registration applications and periodic returns under supervision.
• Liaise with clients and VAT authorities to ensure timely and accurate filings.
• Support research activities and contribute to strategy discussions.
• Maintain Deloitte quality standards in client service delivery and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Tax Law.
• Ideally some prior exposure to tax or related fields.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Motivation to develop expertise in VAT.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS‑Office applications.
