Java Web Developer – Full Stack (Luxembourg)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Java Web Developer to join a dynamic project team in Luxembourg. The role involves building and maintaining full‑stack web applications using modern Java and front‑end technologies, working closely with architects and product owners to deliver high‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java‑based web applications and micro‑services.
• Implement RESTful APIs, JSON handling and integrate with external web services.
• Collaborate on front‑end development using Angular, React and JavaScript.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure secure coding practices and incident management.
• Contribute to technical analysis, solution design and architecture decisions.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus and SonarQube.
• Work with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and explore mobile solutions with React Native.
• Follow Agile development practices and continuously improve development processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Java development, preferably with Java 17 or newer.
• Strong understanding of Spring Boot, J2EE and Play Framework.
• Hands‑on experience with front‑end frameworks (Angular, React) and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control and quality gates.
• Ability to work onsite in Luxembourg and collaborate within an Agile team.
