Employment Lawyer – Associate (m/f)

About the role

Baker McKenzie Luxembourg is seeking an associate to join its Employment department. The role involves advising corporate clients on day‑to‑day and strategic employment law matters and supporting pre‑litigation work. The successful candidate will work closely with senior lawyers to deliver high‑quality, client‑focused services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on employment contracts, policies, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in the preparation and review of pleadings, settlement agreements, and other litigation documents.
• Support senior counsel in managing client relationships and developing the practice group.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on complex employment law issues.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and knowledge‑sharing within the team.

Required profile

• Successful first experience in a law firm handling employment law matters.
• Admission to List I, List II or List IV of the Luxembourg Bar.
• LL.M., MAS or J.D. degree with outstanding academic credentials.
• Fluency in English and French; German or Luxembourgish is an asset.
• Strong service orientation, team spirit, and a client‑first mindset.
• Open‑minded, dynamic personality with high professional standards.
