Volunteer Social Media Manager

About the role

We are looking for a passionate volunteer to lead our social media presence and help spread Clean Something For Nothing’s mission of a litter‑free world. You will work primarily on Instagram and repurpose content for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Threads and Facebook.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and engage with Instagram trends related to #plogging, #cleanup and environmental topics.
• Create two short‑form videos each week (Reels/Shorts) and adapt them for other platforms.
• Publish one weekly post showcasing community clean‑ups, impact statistics or partner highlights.
• Plan, schedule and maintain a consistent content calendar.
• Assist occasionally with blog or caption writing, learning basic SEO as needed.

Required profile

• Students or anyone able to commit roughly 8 hours per week.
• Creative, enthusiastic about environmental causes and fluent in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CapCut for video editing.
• Experience using Canva for graphic design.
