Relationship Manager

About the role

HSBC Luxembourg is seeking a Relationship Manager to manage and grow a hybrid client portfolio that includes Global Relationship Manager‑supported relationships and Global Network Banking corporate clients across Luxembourg and Continental Europe. The role focuses on delivering sustainable revenue growth through the sale of transactional banking products.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow revenues from an assigned hybrid portfolio, identifying cross‑sell opportunities and supporting new client acquisition.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day relationship coverage, ensuring a consistent client experience across GRM, GNB and product partners.
• Support Global Relationship Managers on strategic relationships by coordinating local execution, product delivery, pipeline tracking and client service issues.
• Oversee end‑to‑end onboarding, KYC/CDD, periodic reviews and renewals, working closely with internal teams.
• Assist with credit‑related activities where applicable and monitor the portfolio using risk‑management tools.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in a client‑facing relationship management role, preferably with exposure to global coverage models.
• Strong business acumen and commercial awareness of economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory issues.
• Ability to interact effectively with corporate and institutional clients and internal stakeholders.
