Investment Counselor – Central & Northern Europe

About the role

We are looking for an Investment Counselor to join our Luxembourg team, focusing on the Central and Northern Europe market. Working closely with Private Bankers, you will advise ultra‑high net worth individuals and family offices on asset allocation and implementation across a broad range of liquid and illiquid asset classes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, grow and manage investment relationships with clients holding $25 million or more in assets under management.
• Provide investment advice, market commentary and actionable ideas across traditional and alternative investments.
• Collaborate with coverage teams, investment specialists, risk and compliance partners to deliver tailored solutions.
• Execute brokerage activity and trade orders efficiently while ensuring regulatory compliance (MiFID, AIFMD).
• Assess risk on business decisions and uphold Citi’s reputation and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in private banking or wealth management serving ultra‑high net worth clients.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Team‑oriented and able to leverage a wide network of internal partners.
• Ability to work in a multi‑jurisdictional environment and manage cross‑border investment solutions.
