Sensor Operator (Aerial Surveillance)

About the role

CAE Aviation is seeking experienced Sensor Operators to conduct airborne surveillance missions for government agencies and commercial clients worldwide. The role involves operating ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) equipment on aircraft, collecting and analysing data, and supporting mission objectives in challenging international environments.

Key responsibilities

• Operate sensor suites and ISR systems during flight missions.
• Collect, process, and transmit surveillance data to ground teams.
• Maintain situational awareness and adhere to mission protocols.
• Work on a rotational schedule, often away from home.
• Obtain and maintain required security clearance.

• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
